To Save a Sparrow

I was in the Great Room, when I heard something hit the window. I looked
out and there lay a sparrow. Of course I had to pick it up and hold it.
He tried to fly, but couldn't so I picked him up and took him
to the steps to the deck and sat with him in my hand.

I looked on the ground ..not far from me..and a movement caught my eye.
It was a toad?frog? and he was on his back..kicking his feet. I then saw
some blood on him. I thought a hawk had gotten him & dropped him.

as I look closer......

I notice a SNAKE is attached to the frog..
OH MY GOSH..
I'm scared but I run for the camera.

If you are brave, you can click the pic to enlarge..

I never did see the frog's head..and eventually he slithered
under the steps with the frog in his mouth.
Mr. Sparrow did not make it either..he passed away not
long after the accident. Air Traffic Control isn't here to
yell at..the sparrow did it all himself. Poor guy
poor frog...poor Deena
I'm to freaked to go walk in my yard now.
I HATE SNAKES

It's a woman thing, dating back from the Garden of Eden

Of course I have to hold him. He's sticky..his feet and
his body.

I wanted to show his neat leg color and his suction cup feet.

He's a Gray Tree Frog, but he looks white. Cool guy.
