I love how this tree's roots ..uprooted by wind..looks like a Star Anis Seed This guy was on the tippy top of our bedbroom window on the second floor. The first praying mantis I've seen this year. I have also spotted a Pileated Woodpecker several times in the last two weeks.  My goal is to get a picture.  Oh I love them!!

This little American Goldfinch flew into the window todayso off I went to rescue it. It lookeda little stunned but not too bad.
