Hummingbirds ..coming soon

I'm getting excited. Every year I've watched the
tracking maps to get my feeders out in time.

The males arrive first..before blooms
so get your feeders out in time,
add some potted plants for COLOR
.
Some shots of last year. The hummers liked the
Oriole feeder and the Orioles liked the Hummer feeder!!

The silhouette is Mr Hummer watching his
feeding place from a tree.

happy spring!! thanx for all the nature and critter pics, i love 'em all, 'cept snakes, are with ya on that one! =) love hummingbirds, they are so sweet and tiny! thanx for the map. we have them around our deck by the honeysuckle. one was in the garage and i caught him, they need nourishment so often. so was glad i got him when i did, watched him, recover and off he hummed. my hubby sometimes calls me a hummingbird, 'coz i flit here, then there...=) appreciate all the pics, and love your primitive site. you are in my thoughts and prayers, dear. with blessings and hugs, vikki (i am the one from iowa that visits with dear sweetie, dawn from the feathered nest)

OoooO I've been seeing a lot of humming birds in my yard lately. My cats like to jump on a table near the window and watch them too. :)

Thank you for the link! I love humming birds, but never figured out their pattern. I always would see them in August feeding on our gladiolas (sp?) but then I see them also in the spring. I must be seeing the males in the spring. Thank you Deena. I love your pictures!

Deena, thank you so much for your sweet compliments! Your photos are always amazing....I think I've never seen humming birds in person, but I KNOW I'd love to!
Your little spot always makes me nostalgic for the place where I grew up. I'd love to go back there to live, but for now I'm content to visit in my mind. =0]

Hi, I came here via Naturegirl :-) I am fascinated by hummingbirds, we just don't have them here! Your garden will soon be in spring and full colour. Enjoy :-)
