Hi Annie......Lovely lovely blooms. I love lilac, the colour, the fragrance, a perfect shrub in my book.
I always cut a few blooms and put them in the house. I love the smell wafting into every room.
A beautiful post, tku.

They are so lovely, I can almost smell them. A neighbour used to send a big bunch over to my mother when lilac-time came around, so they always bring me back to early childhood. My lilac tree was given a much more severe pruning than I'd intended it to get, so no blooms this year, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing yours.

You are a little further ahead than I am with my Lilacs! But I do love to smell the lilacs when they are in flower!

*Sniff* Awwww.... I LOVE the fragrance of lilacs. We have several "trees" lining our fence, and you only have to step out the back door to get a whiff!
