Warmer Weather

I was so thankful that it was warm enough and still light enough

to get these pictures of our friend the Great Barred Owl.

February is when they begin to nest and have babies.

They blend in with the trees so easily. I had plenty of photo shots, he

didn't seem to be bothered by me. I talked to him and he would look

at me. He must have known I am Snow White of the Singing Woods

The Pileated Woodpecker was in the trees in back also, but

not close enough for a picture.

I am thankful I got to see them today.
