A Baltimore Oriole and a female Red Belly Woodpecker share some lunch

This is Mrs Baltimore Oriole..getting leftovers

She is more yellow and has no black on her head

Our Lilacs are in bloom

Their scent is magnificent

We have 3 bushes..about 9-10 feet tall

Our new Friend..she hasn't a name yet
but she'll have one soon. She spends alot of time
scratching up seed ..LOL

She comes and eats and goes daily now. I hear them calling in the woods behind us. One day

"Tom" came with her and waited outside the fence , patiently showing his feathers, till she was

finished eating.

Wonder what "the rest of the story" was.
