Ruby Throated Hummingbird

We .had two girls visit frequently Sunday
This girl was not so shy, the other girl wouldn't get near me. Mr. Ruby wasn't around at all, perhaps he has begun his migration . The males do come first and go first.

We moved a hummingbird feeder to our front flower bed, right by our window, and have been quite entertained by the little guys (girls) stopping by for a visit.

Isn't she just beautiful! And what great pictures! I never tire of looking at hummingbirds - so delicate and swift and fragile and yet so full of life and zip.

Such beautiful pictures. You have such a talent with the camera. I just love the little hummingbirds and they seem to love us also. They're not as shy this year... they visit my parakeets cage often when they are outside. It's very sweet. Thanks! Have a lovely happy day.
