The birds are beautiful! The pictures look like postcards! Our birds are starting to sing in the early mornings again too. It's one of my favorite sounds-birdsong in the early morning;)
look at all those sweet things...i am seeing lots of chickadee and robins...not too many cardinals right now...maybe they forgot they are my state bird...
The birds that visit you are just so beautiful! We have a large variety, but ours seem dull in comparison (and I can't even get close enough to photograph any of them) XXX
I have mostly gold finches at my feeders-just a few cardinals. Have you seen Mr. Sanders lately? I think we have his long lost cousin here. He had a suitcase with him and a fine box of chocolates. I think he is looking for his valentine! Love, Debra
The birds bring such joy to the silent winter garden. I believe they should call the cardinals the love birds of the north. For the past four years I have watched this mated pair that come early in the spring and as she alights in the vines on the arbor he brings her seed from the feeder. It is not his offspring for it is far too early in the season for babies... it is the love of his life. xo Susan
I love how birds can eat with each other, whether they are enemies in the sky or on the ground, that goes to say we should be like them and eat with our enemies!! Lovely pictures dear friend! Love to you Annette
