He's beautiful! I was surprised at how many of the butterflies I saw last year had damaged wings. Must be a dangerous life for them.

Poor butterfly....perhaps a bird had caught it but it managed to fly away minus part of it's beautiful wing......

Loved catching up here at the Singing Woods. Love the wren box and am glad the chickadee has taken up residence.

Your poppies are lovely. I have photos of my red Oriental poppies on my blog. They were a gift from the Earth. I never planted them. They just appeared one spring about 8 years ago.

So very beautiful, Deena. You do a wonderful job of getting these pictures. I just hung a hummingbird feeder in my flower bed. I didn't think we had any hummers around until two years ago when we had a hummer get stuck in our garage. So now I'll see if I can attract any of them, because I love looking at yours so much.
