A Perfect Autumn Day

A Bald Face Hornet's Nest, I only observed, didn't try to
get it down from the tree
The look like paper , the hornet's eat wood to make the nest.

I love this old shed.

Even the leaves on the roadside are a work of art.

It was a perfect day for a walk up the Singing Woods Road.

Deena,

Such beautiful photos. Autumn is my favourite time of year. I hadn't seen a bald faced hornet in years, but did this year. They are dangerous creatures but so talented. I love their nests.

Hope all is well with you, my friend.

Blessings,
Mary

I, too, think wasp and hornet's nest are a work of art. My husband doesn't! He is leery of them at best. Your fall pictures are beautiful, too. I bet you're really enjoying it this year.

I too (like everyone else) love this time of year and wish it lasted for maybe 6 months of the year! Your pictures are beautiful, Deena, and it's lovely to see where you walk on Singing Woods Road.
