WildLife Prairie State Park

Hubby Rich and I went to the State Park last weekend
to get out in the fresh warm air & do some hiking .
All the animals there are native to our area in Illinois.

A BobCat
We do have these in our area.

Wolves..yes they are here too, haven't seen one
but we do hear coyote..and see them if we're out
in EARLY morns.

A Grey Fox

I've seen lots of Red Foxes here, even one in our side yard.

I was talking to this American Kestrel
I think she was leaning in to listen closer

We saw bear, owls , all kept in there natural habitat..even bison.

Hi Deena....the shots made me tingle when I looked at them......such beautiful animals.

I have a passion for wolves and foxes....I know many do not like them......
I have a fox visiting during the night....he has left his calling card.....I hear him to.....

The farmer will of course be worried for the spring lambs......nature is raw.....I hope they stay safe......
