Nature

I love how this tree's roots ..uprooted by wind..looks like a Star Anis Seed

This guy was on the tippy top of
our bedbroom window on the second floor.
The first praying mantis I've seen this year.

I have also spotted a Pileated Woodpecker several
times in the last two weeks.  My goal is to get
a picture.  Oh I love them!!

Oh, that tree root is awesome. I've never seen anything like it.

We had quite a few praying mantis' here this year and pileated woodpeckers...beautiful.

Hope you are having a great day.

Hey Ms. Deena...
Great tree, I love how it's aged over time to form the 'Star Anise' look...Love what the imagination conjures up!!!
I only saw a few 'Praying Mantises' this year (that's all I saw, don't know how many saw me though!!)

Good Luck with the Pileated Woodpecker shots. I always laugh when they fly overhead, they cover up the rays from the Sun!! Think were having an eclipse of the SUN!!

Enjoy Your Day...
