I know the feeling! Every tree in our yard but the maple are bare!
Wind or rain take the leaves off fast, don't they? Your yard is beautiful any way.
We hit our peak with leaves last weekend, and like your scene there, now they are all falling down. :c)
The same thing happened to us, Deena. We had color last week--and then came the rains and winds over the weekend. Most of the leaves came down!!!!

My garden last week was very autumnal. Sunday we had gales and heavy rain...now it looks like winter......
