BALD EAGLES
My dear friends, Rhea & Marcia
went Eagle hunting yesterday.
Our town lies on the Illinois River, which
becomes the Mississippi River eventually.
Rhea got some GREAT pictures.
These aren't all the SAME eagle..but
these are all mature eagles..as they don't get
their white head until they are 4 years old.
click on the pics to make them bigger!!
Thank you Rhea for sharing..
and letting me post them on my blog.
These pictures were taken about 2 -3 miles from
our lil nestle in the woods.
ENJOY

You're 'IT'.
O.K. that's not the only thing I wanted to say. I love the pictures. I love nature although my pictures are not worth repeating for all the world to see. I liked you site so much that I'm including it on my site as part of a game of tag. Please, if you feel like it, check out my site for the rules and information.

Very cool!
Deena, we have pair of bald eagles that nest on a lake near our home...i have been lucky enough to have three sightings of one of them...very camera shy though, i have yet to get a picture
Deena,
The photos of the eagles are magnificient. I'm so glad that you posted them.
We saw some bald eagles in the Carolinas on our way home from Florida. The boys watched them closely.
Enjoyed these so much.
Blessings and love,
Mary
