Our Family Christmas Morning
We had a great time. Mercedes, my youngest stayed and we went to
see Sherlock Holmes. When we came out it was icy and slick, so she just stayed the night.
Who would have thought we'd get 7+ inches..and still going.
I do have a couple of winter pics..but it's so deep and
so cold. I'll need to take some tomorrow
Happy EVERYONE had a memorable Christmas

Wanted, A Source for CHEAP Birdseed
...no BIRDS
Since our return from our trip
we have been unable to find
extra funds to feed the birds here.
Does anyone know a source for good
quality peanuts, mixed and sunflowers?
We spend about 150.00 when we
buy all three. I have been making my own
suet, but that's all they get .
Let me know

Wild Things
My daughter Nicole's dog Bella comes to visit
My cat Mya doesn't like her AT ALL, Mya hisses her warning
Bella runs to play with Mya, who runs to get away
hissing the entire time.
Poor Bella.
They were wild

My Nature Friends
This guy was in the field last friday
when I took my walk. He just looked at
me for a bit.
You may have to click to enlarge this one
Mr Hawk was perched on the deck right
under the bird feeders..looking for
breakfast. I was inside and it's
rainy out so I didn't get a GOOD picture.
Not a creature was stirring ..they know when
he's around.
I spied this nest (wren) in a tree at the edge of the singing
woods. Make entirely of small twigs woven together.
Awesome

Nature
I love how this tree's roots ..uprooted by wind..looks like a Star Anis Seed
This guy was on the tippy top of
our bedbroom window on the second floor.
The first praying mantis I've seen this year.
I have also spotted a Pileated Woodpecker several
times in the last two weeks. My goal is to get
a picture. Oh I love them!!
