Butterfly and Hummingbird

My favorite Columbine , Norah Barlow
it has a lovely bud, but hangs upside down.
I have it a pink color too
This is Mr Hummie's favorite perch
his feeder is about 10 feet below
This guy would just not pose for me

I love the "night songs" ..frogs, crickets, owls, coyotes..Life is GOOD

Very beautiful, Deena. You captured some great pictures. Did you know the Indians call the coyotes "song dogs"? I just love that. Just enjoy the night sounds, the song dogs and the beauty in your yard.

HI there. Thank you so much for stopping by my nature blog! I am thrilled to know there are other real life Snow White's out there, lol.

Lovely pictures of butterflies! They are almost as hard to snap as the hummingbirds.

Beautiful photos Deena! You are lucky to see the Hummers that close. There's nothing like the sound of nature. I'm kind of glad I don't hear any coyotes here. My Gray Foxes are enough..LOL I love how they bark. Just saw the two of them together out here at 5:30 pm. So neat! Have a great weekend.

So much song now, isn't there? I go out to get the newspaper in the mornings and just stand on the driveway taking in the birdsong symphony.... gorgeous. Have a beautiful day Deena.

Deena what wonderful and lovely captures of the butterfly. I have Rose Barlow also. I love it but I wish the heads were not so droopy. :-)
